                             Critical Thinker
The critical thinker I have chosen to write about is my Grandpa.  My Grandpa is open-minded and mindful of alternatives. My Grandpa tries to be well informed and judges well the credibility of sources. My Grandpa also indentifies conclusions, reasons, and assumptions and he can develop and defend a reasonable position. He is known to ask appropriate clarifying questions.  My Grandpa is good at drawing conclusions when warranted, but with caution.
My Grandpa is opened minded and mindful of alternatives when it comes to looking at food items when he is grocery shopping.  My Grandpa is well informed by reading the newspaper and searching on the Internet and considers whether the source is creditable. My Grandpa is good at indentifying conclusions when he teaching at bible studies and makes assumptions and can defend a reasonable when teaching.  When talking about issues he good at ending the conversations with a good last thought or conclusion.
My Grandpa using critical thinking when look at nutritional supplements.  When buy stuff he looks at the labels looking for items such sodium levels.  When buying sweets he looks for items that don’t include certain types of sugar that are bad for you.  When considering buy cereals he looks for cereals with very little sugar and cereals that contain fiber. When consider new products to buy he does research looking for clinic trials. In preparation to teach bible class he does research using different version of the bible.
